Former Sabah head coach Vasily Berezutski has said goodbye to the club.
Offsideplus.az reports that the Russian specialist said goodbye to the "owls" he coached in the 2024-25 season with the following words:
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Sabah club for giving me the opportunity to debut as a head coach. I am grateful to the club management for the trust and understanding shown in the current situation. I would like to thank the team and all the club employees for their professionalism and work done. I am especially grateful to the players for their unparalleled dedication. And of course, I would like to thank the fans for their support. But this is life. Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, I have to leave my position at such a joyful moment for the club. I am happy to be part of the team and share this long-awaited trophy," he noted.
