AFFA's Disciplinary Committee fined "Turan Tovuz" club 20,000 manats.

Offsideplus.az reports that the reason for this was the statement made by Tovuz's representative before the away game against "Shamakhi" within the framework of the XXIV round of the Misli Premier League on February 23.

In that statement, it was noted that the match will not be broadcast live on "CBC Sport" TV channel and the lack of VAR system may create the possibility that the referees will not manage the game transparently, and requested to postpone the match. Despite the appeal, the match took place and "Turan Tovuz" won with a score of 1:0.

However, AFFA has decided to take strict measures due to this statement. The club was given an official warning at yesterday's meeting of the Disciplinary Committee, but today a large fine was imposed.

The Disciplinary Committee reminded the officials of "Turan Tovuz" that the lack of VAR system due to unstable weather or failure to provide live broadcast is not considered a reason for not holding the game.
