The Azerbaijani female chess players who will participate in the European Individual Women’s Chess Championship in Batumi, Georgia, have been announced.
Offsideplus.az reports that 12 chess players from Azerbaijan have been registered for the tournament: Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Gunay Mammadzada, Govhar Beydullayeva, Gulnar Mammadova, Ayan Allahverdiyeva, Turkan Mamedyarova, Sabina Ibrahimova, Narmin Abdinova, Zeinab Mamedyarova, Maryam Agaverdiyeva, Lala Huseynova, and Melek Ismayil.
The European Championship will be held from May 25 to June 5, following the Swiss system with 11 rounds.
