The last finalist of the Azerbaijan Chess Championship has been determined.
According to Offsideplus.az, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov defeated Aydin Suleymanli in a tie-break to secure his spot in the final.
Mamedyarov will face Mahammad Muradli in the decisive title match.
Meanwhile, A. Suleymanli will compete against Read Samadov for the third-place spot.
In the women’s category, the final will be contested between Ulviyya Fataliyeva and Ayan Allahverdiyeva. In the bronze medal match, Gulnar Mammadova will face Turkan Mamedyarova.
The final matches are scheduled to begin tomorrow at 15:00.
