The result of the match between Ayan Allahverdiyeva and Turkan Mammadyarova in the semifinal stage of the Azerbaijani Chess Championship has been reviewed.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the Chess Federation, during the game held on February 17, referees initially awarded the victory to Mammadyarova, claiming that Allahverdiyeva had made two groundless claims. However, Allahverdiyeva disagreed with this decision and appealed to the Appeals Committee.

The committee conducted a detailed investigation by reviewing the video recording of the match and the sequence of moves. In accordance with current FIDE regulations, the player's appeal was upheld.

As a result, Mammadyarova's victory was overturned, and the match was officially recorded as a draw. Turkan Mammadyarova also stated that she accepts the new decision issued by the Appeals Committee.
