British Mercedes driver George Russell has won the qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the seventh round of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship.

Offsideplus.az reports that fellow Briton Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) secured second place, while the other Mercedes driver, Kimi Antonelli, finished third.

The main race of the round will take place on June 14, with the start scheduled for 17:00 Baku time.
