"It's as if Baku has hosted the UFC before."

Offsideplus.az reports that Tajik athlete Muhammad Naimov, who will participate in UFC Fight Night, said these words at a press conference.

He said that although it was his first time in Baku, the atmosphere was good:

"It was my first time coming to Baku. In fact, I didn't expect to be warmly welcomed. This is a brotherly country. It's as if UFC was held in Baku, the roads, the atmosphere in the city are at a high level."

The Tajik fighter, who will face Bogdan Grad, talked about the preparation process: "The preparation process went well. The sparring partner was also good. If you want to be the best, you have to train and fight with the best. Those around me are made up of strong people. I fight first for myself, and then for the country I represent. They will watch my fight everywhere in my Motherland, in cafes and restaurants."
