The largest stand of the Palms Sports Arena, where Neftchi has been playing its home matches for nearly 15 years, has been named after Anatoli Banishevski.
Offsideplus.az reports that the "Black and Whites" took this step to immortalize the name of the legendary "Number 9" of Azerbaijani football.
The "South" stand will now bear his name in honor of the 80th anniversary of Banishevski's birth.
