A meeting has been held with officials responsible for education in football academies.

According to Offsideplus.az, the meeting organised by the National Association discussed the ongoing participation of children and adolescents training in academies in sports activities, as well as their school education, support for academic performance, and future development opportunities. During the discussions, topics such as monitoring school attendance, maintaining academic achievements, ensuring a balance between sports and educational activities, and strengthening cooperation with parents and schools were addressed.

There was an exchange of ideas regarding the role of education in the comprehensive development of young footballers, promoting their academic progress alongside sports activities, and expanding future career opportunities. Representatives from clubs and academies shared their experiences and discussed the challenges they face and possible solutions.

The meeting was attended by Sarxan Huseynov, head of the Football Development Department of AFFA, Kifayat Mustafayeva, head of the Social and Environmental Sustainability Department, education expert Nigar Nasrullayeva, as well as officials responsible for education in football academies.

AFFA plans to continue holding meetings in this direction, promote the exchange of experiences among academies, and identify possible joint activities.
