The U20 World Wrestling Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia, is nearing its conclusion.

According to Offsideplus.az, on the seventh day of competition, wrestlers in the 70, 74, 97, and 125 kg categories have joined the fray.

Haci Kerimov (70 kg) started with a victory over India's Sumit Baraskara, winning 5-1, and then defeated North Macedonia's Muhamed Veseli 11-2. In the quarter-finals, Kerimov overwhelmed Armenia's Davit Davtyan with a score of 12-0, and in the semi-finals, he triumphed over Egypt's Mohamed Ahmed 9-2. Haci will face Iran's Sina Mehdi Khalili in the final tomorrow.

Ismayil Rahimli (74 kg) was defeated in the qualification round by Uzbekistan's Farrukhbay Jumanazarov with a score of 2-4.

Farhad Suleymanli (97 kg) eliminated Hungary's Robert Erdelyi early with an 11-0 victory, but lost in the quarter-finals to Belarus's Azamat Tsarikayev with a score of 8-19.

Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) secured a dominant victory over Japan's Hosey Fucita, winning 11-1, while India's Ronak Ronaka won 3-2 to advance to the semi-finals. Just one step away from the final, Yusif lost to America's Dreshaun Rossa 1-4 and will compete for the bronze medal tomorrow.
