After defeating Imishli 3-1 in the second round of the Misli Premier League, Zira's head coach Rashad Sadygov answered questions from journalists.

According to Offsideplus.az, the specialist first commented on the match, praising his team's determination:

"We witnessed a very tense and interesting game. Especially in the second half, we saw very fast football. It was extremely important for us to win today. The scenario of the game resembled more of Payde's style of play. When we were 1-0 ahead, we wasted goal opportunities, and even when the score was 2-1, we again failed to capitalise on chances. For me, the main issue was how the players reacted to this situation. They believed until the end, showed determination, and kept their composure on the pitch. They continued to attack, and the goal we scored at the end was very important. It's not about whether the score was 2-1 or 3-1. To be honest, when the score was 2-1, I thought the team would pull back into defence. However, at that moment, it was crucial to keep attacking and seek success at the opponent's goal. The players managed to do that, and thankfully, we secured the very important 3 points for us."

He also spoke about rotations in the coaching staff and transfer plans:

"The rotation in the wing-back position was a plan we outlined before the season. Last year, we only had Qismat Aliyev on the right flank, and when he got injured, we faced serious problems. Similarly, Issa was also alone on the wing. But this year, we have three wing-backs at our disposal. Qismat being on the bench is not about someone being better than someone else; it was just a plan we had for this game.

Overall, the season is long, and our squad is still thin. Our transfer selection is ongoing; we must expand our squad. We even have a player with whom we have reached a verbal agreement. In total, we are in talks with 5-6 players. Our plan includes 4-5 transfers, but whether they will happen will be shown by time. None of the candidates are from the local championship."
