USA fighter Curtis Blaydes will face Russian representative Rizvan Kuniev at UFC Fight Night in Baku on June 21.

Offsideplus.az reports that the American athlete participated in a press conference today and told reporters that he has not yet visited the Baku Crystal Hall:

"But I have traveled to Baku, I have not seen the Crystal Hall, I have seen the Caspian Sea. The food is very tasty, I ate lamb. My expectations for the fight on Saturday are victory. It is a bit of a joke, but I will fight for victory."

He said that the fight is not important in the fight for the belt:

"This fight is not important. The opponent is a debutant, this will not give me an advantage in the fight for the belt. I am number 5 in the rating. If they pay, I will fight. The money is good, so I will enter the octagon. Even if there is a bonus, it is fine. After this fight, I want to face someone who is in the "top 5" in the rating."
