Azerbaijani wrestlers successfully performed at the "Dan Kolov - Nikola Petrov" tournament in Varna, Bulgaria and won two medals.

Offsideplus.az reports that Sadiq Mustafazade (92 kg) won a silver medal. He defeated Israel's Uri Kalashnikova in the first round, followed by wins over Bulgaria's Radomir Stoyanova and America's Eric Schultz, but lost to Sandro Kurashvili of Georgia in the final.

Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) won a bronze medal. He won the first round with complete victories over Dimitar Biserkov of Bulgaria and Nahshon Garrett of the United States, before losing to Devan Turner of the United States in the semifinals, but he beat Denis Naimi of Bulgaria early to reach the final and took the bronze medal.
