"We Must Be Vigilant on the Pitch to Neutralize the Opponent's Moves"

According to Offsideplus.az, Qarabag head coach Gurban Gurbanov shared these remarks during a press conference held ahead of the UEFA Champions League league phase Matchday 7 clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The specialist shared his tactical insights regarding the upcoming game: "We have been analyzing Eintracht’s matches. In the three games they’ve played since January, they have utilized different systems. They organized their attacks differently during the matches and employed various defensive setups in each game. We were shaping our work accordingly. We have faced similar situations before where an opponent changed their head coach. If we play with discipline and stay focused until the end, there shouldn't be any major issues. However, the head coach change was a surprise for us and has somewhat blurred our focus."

Gurbanov emphasized the strength of the opposition: "Eintracht is an experienced opponent with that signature German discipline. I believe that if we perform better tomorrow than we did in our previous matches, we can achieve a successful result."

The match between Qarabag and Eintracht Frankfurt will take place on January 21 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. The opening whistle will blow at 21:45.
