If Qarabag advances to the Champions League play-offs, its potential opponent has been revealed.

Offsideplus.az reports that the draw was held in Nyon, Switzerland. If the Aghdam representative overcomes Shkendija, they will face the winner of the Ludogorets (Bulgaria) - Ferencvaros (Hungary) pair. The first match will take place away on August 19-20. The return match will be played in Baku a week later.

If "Qarabag" fails to overcome the "Shkendiya" barrier, it will continue its fight in the Europa League. The Aghdam representative will play against the loser of the "Ludogorets" (Bulgaria) - "Ferencvaros" (Hungary) pair.

The matches will be held on August 21 and 28.

Both opponents are well acquainted with the "old horses". Gurban Gurbanov's team has previously managed to eliminate both teams from the competition.

It should be noted that Qarabag has previously competed in the final qualifying round of the Champions League 4 times. They have only managed to pass this round once and competed in the main stage.
