AFFA General Secretary Cahangir Farajullayev has been on a business trip to France.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing AFFA’s official website, the association’s official held several meetings at FIFA’s office in Paris.

As part of an introductory visit, Farajullayev met with Elxan Mammadov, FIFA’s Regional Director for Europe, Regional Coordinator Marion Gavat, and several heads of departments within FIFA.

The meetings focused on opportunities for cooperation in the development of football in Azerbaijan, increasing grassroots participation, and enhancing public interest in the sport.

Additionally, the General Secretary was briefed on various FIFA programs.

It should be noted that Elxan Mammadov served as AFFA’s General Secretary for 15 years, from 2007 to 2022.
