The AFFA Disciplinary Committee has issued stringent decisions regarding the incidents during the Sabah vs. Qarabag semifinal match of the Azerbaijan Cup.

Offsideplus.az reports that the most severe penalty was handed to the Aghdam side's footballer, Marko Jankovic. The Montenegrin midfielder received an 8-match ban for attempting physical pressure and threatening the referee, while the club was fined 25,500 AZN for the incident.

Alongside Yankovic, coach Huseyn Seyidov (6-match ban, 18,000 AZN) and club official Ilgar Shamilov (5-match ban, 8,000 AZN) also received long-term penalties for aggressive behavior toward the referees. Additionally, goalkeeper Mateus Kochalski was disqualified for one match following a direct red card.

Due to damages caused by Qarabag fans (70 broken seats), the use of pyrotechnics, and insulting chants, the club will have to pay a total fine exceeding 70,000 AZN.

Sabah was also fined a total of 12,200 AZN for unauthorized persons entering the pitch, fans' use of pyrotechnics, and other rule violations.
