Azerbaijani Powerlifter living in New York State and also a member of the Azerbaijan Powerlifting Federation, Ismail Guliyev participated in the prestigious sports Arnold Sports Festival. He competed with 16 competitors in the lightweight division of the Powerlifting bench press and was ranked second in the weight class up to 100 kg and 250 kg.
