The 31-year-old winger announced this on his personal Instagram page, Offsideplus.az reports. He said that he made this decision after much thought.

It should be noted that Donald Guerrier featured for Qarabag from 2017 to 2019. The footballer, who transferred to Neftchi last summer, returned to the representative of Agdam at the beginning of the 2020/2021 season. He made his debut for the National Team in 2010 and played 54 games with 17 goals to his name.

I can confirm that after much deliberation I have made the decision to retire from playing international football (Haiti National Team). As a young boy growing up it was my dream to play for Haiti ?? and to pull on the famous bleu and red shirt to represent my country. To have been given the opportunity to not only fulfill that dream, but to have done it 55 times, and many of which as a key player makes me incredibly proud and thankful. The countless unbelievable moments that I have experienced will stay with me forever, and I can honestly say that looking back I had some of the best times of my life on the pitch playing for the “Grenadiers”. It is an enormous privilege to represent your country and one I did not take lightly. Words will never be able to do justice the feeling of immense pride I felt when representing Haiti. I gave everything o had in every single game I played to try and achieve succès for our Nation(Haïti). However,after a huge amount of time reflecting and discussing with those closest with me, I feel that is the right time time to move aside in a order to focus on my club football and prolonged that journey. Looking back, I feel blessed to leave with memories that will last a life time . The feeling of representing my dear country Haïti There are just too many highlights to mention. And finally I have to say a special thank you to the Haitian Fans Donald Guerrier fans for believing in me and supporting me through thick and thin.
