The Azerbaijani national team won a full set of medals at the opening stage of the Beach Wrestling World Series held in Da Nang, Vietnam.

According to Offsideplus.az, under the leadership of head coach Oyan Nazariani, Ashraf Ashirov (90 kg) defeated all his opponents to clinch the gold medal. Sahib Dadashov (80 kg) finished the competition with silver, while Rubail Ibrahimli (70 kg) secured the bronze.

Represented by four athletes, the national team collected 60 points, finishing 3rd in the team standings behind Georgia (71) and Ukraine (65).
