Qarabag is taking further steps to strengthen its squad during the transfer window.

According to Offsideplus.az, the identities of two defenders targeted by the Agdam club have been revealed.

One of these players is 22-year-old central defender Justin Hubner from the Indonesia national team. He began his career at Wolverhampton and has spent time on loan at Japan's Cerezo Osaka. Since 2025, he has been representing Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands.

He has made 21 appearances for his national team, scoring one goal.

The other player on Qarabag's radar is 30-year-old experienced member Dion Cools from the Malaysia national team.

Cools has been playing for Japan's Cerezo Osaka since 2025. Although he previously played in Belgium's youth teams, he has been contributing to the Malaysia national team's successes since 2021, with 38 caps and 6 goals.
