The transfer of Azerbaijan national team’s young footballer Nariman Akhundzadeh to newly promoted Erzurumspor in the Turkish Super League has been officially announced.

According to information obtained by Offsideplus.az, Akhundzade could also have transferred to clubs competing in Europe. The 22-year-old has received offers from clubs in the top leagues of Poland and Hungary.

It is worth noting that Nariman has played in 7 matches for Columbus Crew, the club he joined this winter. He will be playing for the Turkish club on a loan basis.
