The European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships continue in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

Offsideplus.az reports that on the third day of the continental championships, Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) secured his fourth European title by defeating Turkish representative Murat Firat 7-5 in the final. Following him, last year's gold medalist Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) became a two-time European champion after a 4-2 victory over Adlet Tiuliubaev (UWW) in the final.

Another Azerbaijani wrestler, Nihat Mammadli (60 kg), claimed the bronze medal by defeating Suner Konunov (UWW) with a convincing 6-0 score.

It should be noted that previously, Greco-Roman wrestlers Rashad Mammadov (55 kg), Nihat Mammadli (60 kg), and Islam Abbasov (87 kg) also secured bronze medals.
