Ganja has started hosting the U-17 Azerbaijan Championship in both Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling.

According to Offsideplus.az, on the opening day of the competition held at the Ganja Sports Palace, finalists were determined in the 45, 51, 60, 71, and 92 kg weight categories for Greco-Roman wrestling.

45 kg - Ali Javadli (UGIM-2) – Kamil Mammadli (UGIM-2)

51 kg - Abdurrahman Huseynli (ROIL, "Neftchi") – Huseyn Mustafazadeh (Neftchi)

60 kg - Elmir Cherkezov (ROIL, "Neftchi") – Vakil Bashirov (Sumgayit, Tahsil)

71 kg - Ali Mammadov (Ganja, "Neftchi") – Nadir Hasanov (UGIM-2)

92 kg - Zohrab Safarov (Neftchi) – Abalfaz Farajli (Neftchi)
