The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF) has launched a new project.

According to Offsideplus.az, from now on, controversial episodes recorded during various matches in domestic competitions will be reviewed and clarified. The AWF press service released information regarding this initiative.

In this regard, the first competition to undergo such review was the Azerbaijan Championship in Greco-Roman and Freestyle wrestling, held from January 7 to 11. The head referee of the championship, Asif Shiraliyev, has already provided clarifications on several controversial episodes that occurred during the matches.
