Wrestling competitions at the III CIS Games have concluded.

Offsideplus.az reports that today, 60 wrestlers competed for victory in Greco-Roman wrestling.

Our national team won 6 medals in the competition held at the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex. Our wrestlers won 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal.

Our representatives Elshad Abbasov (51 kg), Ali Nazarov (60 kg) and Islam Sultanov (71 kg) became champions and sang our anthem.

Yusif Mirzayev (48 kg) and Nijat Yeylagaliyev (80 kg) took second place, and Hikmet Hagverdiyev (55 kg) took third place.

Thus, our wrestlers won a total of 20 (5 gold, 6 silver, 9 bronze) medals at the CIS Games.
