The "Turan" club, representing Azerbaijan in the Champions League, continues its preparations.

According to Offsideplus.az, the club's first match against Croatia's "Mladost" will take place at the Tovuz Olympic Complex, where a number of technical and organisational innovations are planned.

Infrastructure upgrades are in the final stages, with work nearing completion on the appearance of the stands and the comfort of fans, as well as modernising the arena.

A special opening programme will be held before the match, with fans and the public expecting several surprises. Special lighting effects, new modern scoreboards, and large monitors are being installed in the hall.

On match day, special activities will also take place around the complex for fans. A specific programme has been prepared for the reception, accommodation, and movement of the visiting team, along with other necessary services. These standards will be applied not only for European cup matches but also in the Azerbaijan Super League.

The squad has already been finalised. The team is continuing its preparations in Europe, where several friendly matches are planned.

It is worth noting that "Turan" will face Croatia's "Mladost" in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. The first encounter is scheduled for October 20 in Tovuz.
