Azerbaijani judoka Islam Rahimov (66 kg) won the U-23 European Championship held in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau.
Offsideplus.az reports that our representative won the gold medal by defeating Dutchman Jochem van Harten in the final.
It should be noted that our other representatives, Murad Muradli and Huseyn Allahyarov (both 60 kg), finished the day without medals.
