The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has organized a seminar for the medical staff of teams participating in the Misli Premier League.

According to Offsideplus.az, the seminar was held under UEFA's Football Education Program and focused on “Emergency Medical Situations and Injuries,” covering topics such as cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, seizures, head injuries, spinal and chest trauma, and facial injuries.

The primary aim of the seminar was to enhance the knowledge and skills of medical professionals working with clubs, and to familiarize them with UEFA standards for managing common football-related injuries.

The event was led by the head doctor of the Azerbaijani national team, Vyacheslav Khomenko.

The three-day seminar also featured a presentation by national team doctor Olcay Bayramov, and physician Javad Jabbarov, who shared his experience with colleagues.
