The Azerbaijan women's national football team faced its next test today in the World Cup qualifiers.

According to Offsideplus.az, the team led by Siyasat Asgarov played an away match against Andorra. The match ended in a 3-1 victory for our national team. The goals for Azerbaijan were scored by Sevinj Jafarzade (2) and Esra Manya.

Our team currently sits in 2nd place in Group 3 of League C with 6 points. Hungary leads the group with 7 points, followed by North Macedonia with 3 points, and Andorra with 1 point.

Notably, while our national team lost its opening group match to Hungary with a narrow 0-1 scoreline, they secured a convincing 2-0 victory over North Macedonia in the following game.
