As part of Baku Climate Week, a seminar on "Sustainability in Football" was held at the AFFA Education and Rehabilitation Centre for representatives of Misli Premier League and First League clubs.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the federation's official website, the main aim of the event was to reduce the negative impact of football on the environment and to promote activities in line with sustainable development principles for clubs.

The seminar featured speeches from Elchin Mammadov, the deputy secretary general of AFFA, Aygun Narimanova, a specialist from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Orkhan Jabbarli, the press secretary of Clean City ASC, and Vusal Abbasov, head of the AYNA branch. The experts provided detailed information to club representatives on climate change, environmental protection, green transport, and the impact of football on ecology.
