The 30-year-old midfielder spoke about his transfer to the Baku club, Offsideplus.az reports.
Touching upon the events in Nagorno-Karabakh, Telushi said he felt comfortable in our country.
- Shortly after moving from Partizani to Kukesi, you turned to Neftchi. How did this happen?
- Frankly, I was waiting for Partizani. Then an offer came from Kukesi, and when I saw that they insisted, I understood. I did not wait for Neftchi's offer. The negotiation process with them was faster than I expected. I am ready to start a new adventure.
- How did you convince Kukesi in this transition? Was there a clause in the contract about your separation?
- We found a quick solution with Kukesi. Yes, there was such a clause in the contract. Kukesi did not hinder me, on the contrary, it made the situation easier.
- It is a state of war in Azerbaijan. Doesn’t that scare you?
- It is true that there is a state of war in Nagorno-Karabakh. But the current situation does not bother me at all, there is no reason to be afraid.
- Will you be able to adapt to a completely different environment from Albania?
- Every footballer wants to live an adventure abroad. It is an opportunity to take a big step and show yourself. This is what I want. So I feel happy. I have a chance to advance in my career. I like everything here because I came to a good club.
