A new player has been called up to the squad of the Azerbaijan under-21 national football team for their training camp.

Offsideplus.az reports that Sint-Truiden midfielder Mustafa Camara has been included in the U-21 camp. The 18-year-old left winger managed to score 2 goals in 19 appearances for the U-18 team of the Belgian club during the 2025/2026 season.

It should be noted that M. Camara is the son of Abdulkader Camara, who previously played for Gabala from 2007 to 2012. Mustafa himself was born in Azerbaijan on March 3, 2008.

Our national team will hold a training camp in Baku from May 28 to 30, and in Isparta, Turkey, from May 31 to June 10.

As part of the training camp in Turkey, our U-21 national team will play two friendly matches. Our team will face the respective age groups of Bahrain on June 6 and Kyrgyzstan on June 9.
