"Qarabag" head coach Qurban Qurbanov participated in a press conference ahead of the UEFA Conference League play-off second leg against the Dutch club Twente.

Offsideplus.az reports that the experienced coach first congratulated "Sabah" for winning the Champions League qualifying round:

"I congratulate "Sabah" on their success; it is a significant achievement. The Champions League excitement will return to Baku. We have a very important match ahead of us, and we will fight against a strong team. Every move from both sides will be crucial. We will do our best to make the most of our chances. Our preparations have gone well."

On the differences between the rival teams: "Twente and APOEL are different teams. I am more focused on our game than on the opponent. The absence of healthy players concerns me. The idea of winning the match can also hinder me; I just want to replicate what we intend to do on the pitch."

Regarding local players scoring: "It is not a coincidence that local players scored in the play-off; it is their right to do so. It is very pleasing, and I congratulate my players on their performance."

On the essential strategy: "For us, it is crucial to be ahead on the scoreboard after the first match. However, this is still an advantage. If a team is playing in the play-off of the Dutch league, every round will be postponed. Therefore, the opponent will have a week to prepare well. For me, it is interesting to watch them play systematic football."

On Hikmet Jabrayilzade and Ali Bajirov's chances: "Indeed, there will be no problem with Hikmet; he has been with us for a while. For Ali, it could be a risk because the excitement is felt more than usual. But if we have to, I am ready to put him on the pitch. In time, we will make significant decisions at this level."

On Musa Qurbanli's physical form: "We have a match in the city of Sabah, and there is a chance for the player to be on the pitch. Musa has been showing improvement lately; there has been a positive change after his injury. We all want him to be better because both the team and the collective need him. Rivals are taking Azerbaijani clubs seriously now. This is a problem for us, but it is also a significant challenge."

On the opponent's star Pyatsa: "Every footballer has their unique strengths. We will take specific steps against Pyatsa. There are many players who actively engage with the ball, and Twente has a strong attack."
