Azerbaijan's U19 national football team has made an unsuccessful start to the European Championship qualifying round.

Offsideplus.az reports that our national team, competing in Group 6 of League B, faced the host nation, Lithuania, in their opening match. The encounter, held at the "Raudondvario" stadium in Kaunas, ended in a dominant victory for the opponents. The match concluded with a 0-4 defeat for our team.

It should be noted that the U19 squad will play its next match against Northern Ireland on March 28.
