The venue for the away match between the Azerbaijani national football team and the Ukrainian national team in the World Cup qualifying round has been determined.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the official website of AFFA, that the match, which will be held as part of the IV round of Group D, will take place on October 13 in the Polish city of Wroclaw.

The match, scheduled for the “Tarchinski Arena”, will start at 22:45 Baku time.

This stadium hosted the match between “Chelsea” and “Real Betis” (4:1) in the UEFA Conference League final on May 28.

It should be noted that the first match between Azerbaijan and Ukraine will be held on September 9 at the Tofig Bahramov Republic Stadium.

It should be added that due to Russia's occupation policy, the Ukrainian national team has not been able to play on its home field since February 2022.
