Azerbaijan's U-17 women's national football team has concluded its campaign in Group 2 of League B in the second qualifying round of the European Championship.

According to Offsideplus.az, Nargiz Gurbanova's squad suffered a defeat in their final match.

Our team lost 0-2 to group underdogs Malta, who had conceded 10 goals in their previous two matches. Both goals were scored by Nina Li-Naudi in the second half (50th and 53rd minutes).

As a result, the Azerbaijani team finished last in the group with three points.

Notably, the U-17 squad had previously faced Luxembourg (0-5) and Bulgaria (3-2) in their other matches.
