The specialist commented on the 1-0 victory over Qarabag in the 11th round of the Misli Premier League:

"We are happy with the victory. However, we had to sacrifice some things for the win, especially in defence, where we stood strong. Every match requires special preparation. I am more pleased for the boys. They believed it is possible to play against strong opponents."

Berdiyev also clarified claims regarding Faiq Hajiyev's departure from the team:

"Faiq is a member of our team like any other player. Everyone is waiting for their chance. Faiq is training very well, but Silva, who plays in his position, is currently making a good impression."

It is worth noting that the match, held at Azersun Arena, saw Roderik Miller score the goal in the 80th minute.
