Baku Olympic Stadium (BOS) has officially responded once again to unfounded claims made by a representative of Borussia Dortmund regarding the stadium's water supply system.

According to Offsideplus.az, additional laboratory analyses have definitively confirmed that there are no issues with the arena's water system.

It is worth noting that following the match between Sabah and Borussia Dortmund held at Baku Olympic Stadium on October 20 as part of the UEFA Champions League group stage, a representative of the visiting team suggested the possibility of legionella bacteria being present in the stadium's shower facilities. This assertion, made without any reference to laboratory results, was met with surprise in the public domain, prompting BOS management to issue a statement confirming that the arena possesses the relevant quality and safety certifications. It was also highlighted that other clubs, including Sabah and Slavia Prague, which have held training sessions and matches at BOS this season, had raised no concerns regarding this matter.

To further strengthen public confidence, additional water samples were taken from Baku Olympic Stadium and tested by independent entities. Analyses conducted by MediClub Medical Clinic and the Central Laboratory of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency have once again proven that BOS's water supply system is free from any standard violations and is completely safe.

Stadium officials have ironically addressed the circulating rumours, stating: "The opinion expressed by the representative of Borussia Dortmund is entirely unfounded, and Barcelona need not worry about this issue."
