"The championship is in its most intense period."

Former head coach of the Azerbaijan national team, Agaselim Mirjavadov, stated this in an interview with Offsideplus.az.

The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the Misli Premier League's Round 30 match between Qarabag and Turan Tovuz:

"There is a serious struggle for the third and fourth places. It is pleasing to see such competition in the league. Currently, Qarabag has secured second place, but Turan still has a chance. In my opinion, the Tovuz representative is determined to continue the fight for third place. In terms of play quality, Qarabag looks superior to Turan. As we approach the end of the season, it is evident that teams are tired both physically and psychologically. An intense match is expected, and this game is particularly crucial for the Tovuz team. Qarabag is usually the favorite. The point or points gained in this match are important for both teams, but they hold greater significance for Turan."

Mirjavadov also evaluated the performance of the Aghdam representative in the current season:

"This season cannot be considered a failure for Qarabag. True, they did not become the champions of Azerbaijan, but they achieved great success in Europe. Reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League is not something every club can achieve. Of course, there are mistakes, and there will continue to be. Looking at top clubs, we see they have broader squads and more player options. Qarabag lags behind somewhat in this regard, which is understandable. Now, many ask: if the club has the means, why doesn't it transfer more players? Yes, the resources are there, but it is not possible to bring in just any player. I witnessed this personally during my own career."
