According to Offsideplus.az, Qarabag faced the league leaders, Sabah. The encounter, held at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, ended in a 1-0 victory for the Masazir representative.

Abdulla Khaybullayev scored the winning goal in the 45th minute. However, the midfielder was sent off after receiving a red card in the 46th minute.

With this win, Sabah has increased its points tally to 69, moving closer to the championship. Second-placed Qarabag remains on 56 points, though the Agdam club has a game in hand.

It should be noted that in the first match of the day, Karvan-Yevlakh secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Shamakhi.
