Sabah FC has strengthened its squad with the addition of a new player.
Offsideplus.az reports that, Gabonese forward Patrick Orphe Mbina will now be competing for the success of the "Owls." The 25-year-old striker joins on loan from the Slovenian club Maribor. The loan agreement is valid until the end of the current season. According to the deal reached between the parties, Sabah FC will have the option to sign the player on a permanent transfer at the end of the loan period.
Throughout his career, Mbina has played for Port-Gentil (2016-2018) in Gabon, Colomiers (2018), Béziers B (2019-2020), Grenoble B (2020-2021), Beauvais (2021-2022), Chamalières (2022-2023), and Nîmes (2023-2024) in France, as well as Leiria (2025, loan) in Portugal and Maribor (2024-2025) in Slovenia.
The forward is also a member of the Gabon national team, having earned 5 caps.
