Offsideplus.az reports that these words were said by “Sabah” head coach Valdas Dambrauskas during the post-match press conference after the 14th round of the Misli Premier League match against “NeftCH.”

The coach shared his thoughts on the game:
“I congratulate my players. Today they delivered a magnificent performance. I really liked their behavior and approach. We want to see ‘Sabah’ play like this always. I congratulate our fans, management, and coaching staff. Even for neutral fans, it was a very interesting and high-quality match. The most important point in this game was our desire to take the initiative from the very first minutes.

‘NeftCHi’ had a different formation, with unexpected changes in the starting lineup. In the second half, we were the team that performed better, controlled the ball, and applied pressure on the opponent. We didn’t allow ‘NeftCHi’ much space with the ball.”

Dambrauskas also highlighted areas for improvement:
“We missed many goal-scoring opportunities. We need to develop further. This weekend, we face a very tough away match and a very strong opponent. Afterwards, we have an important game against ‘Qarabağ.’”
