The 13th round of the Azerbaijan First League has officially started.

Offsideplus.az reports that three matches took place on the opening day of the round. The league leaders, Shafa, played out a 1-1 draw with their closest pursuers, Baku Sporting.

A stalemate was also recorded in the Jabrayil vs. MOIK encounter, while Sabail secured a narrow victory with a single goal during their trip to Zagatala.
