"Ferrari" driver Charles Leclerc has stated that the team was unable to compete for high positions in the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix due to a lack of speed.

Leclerc expressed his disappointment at not achieving the expected results, as reported by Offsideplus.az:

"It was clear after the free practice sessions that Ferrari had problems. We were behind McLaren, while Mercedes and Red Bull seemed to be from another planet compared to us. It was difficult to maintain our position due to our lack of speed on the straights. We were left defenseless on the straights, and our rivals were catching us in the corners. We need to react urgently, because if we fall behind in the pace of updates, it will be very difficult to close the gap later.

I was ill this weekend, and it wasn't easy to manage the race. However, regardless of my illness, fourth place today was the maximum result possible for us."
