"Red Bull" driver Isaac Hajar has commented on renewing his contract with the Austrian team during a press conference held before the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

According to Offsideplus.az, the French driver emphasised his satisfaction with the adaptation process within the team.

The 21-year-old young driver spoke with particular excitement about his activities in the team:

"I joined this team eight months ago, and from day one, I understood the scale and ambition of this collective. There are many talented people working at the base. I fully understand what an honour it is to compete alongside a four-time Formula 1 champion like Max Verstappen in such a magnificent team. Since the moment I joined, I have tried to dedicate myself entirely to the work within the team. Thanks to the support of Loran Mekis and all the staff, I have managed to justify the trust placed in me. I strive to listen to those around me, continue learning, and set new goals for myself every day. I am looking forward to seeing what awaits us ahead with great excitement and high spirits."

The French driver, who has recovered from an injury to his wrist, did not hide that the last few weeks have been challenging for him:

"In such moments, one wants to return quickly. The last few weeks have been disappointing for me. But now, it feels good to be back in the fight. I want to win against my rivals."
