During the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, several key roads will be open to traffic at specific times to ensure the comfort of city residents and drivers.
According to Offsideplus.az, a new transit corridor will be established from the intersection of Uzeyir Hajibeyli and Pushkin streets towards Bulbul Avenue.
Due to the race, certain areas will also experience traffic restrictions.
The initial restrictions will come into effect from 21:00 on 19 September. This will apply to the section of Pushkin Street at the intersection with Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street and Neftchilar Avenue. The restrictions will remain in place until the end of the event.
According to the Traffic Management Plan, the streets crossed by the Baku City Circuit and the areas surrounding the track will be closed to traffic from 01:00 on 20 September until 08:00 on 28 September. Access to restricted zones will only be possible with a "Residential Area Access Permit."
Additionally, based on the experience of the last three years, certain main roads will be open to traffic at specific times during the race to ensure the comfort of city residents and drivers.
On 21 and 22 September, the following entry and exit points will be open for traffic without stopping from 07:00 to 09:00 in the morning and from 18:00 to 20:00 in the evening.
On 23 September, the mentioned roads will be open for traffic from 07:00 to 09:00 in the morning and from 20:00 to 22:00 in the evening.

⦁ From Salyan Highway towards Neftchilar Avenue and Azneft Circle;
⦁ From M. Lermontov Street towards the UN 50th Anniversary Street and Independence Street;
⦁ From S. Vurgun Street towards Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street and Bulbul Avenue;
⦁ From Bulbul Avenue towards Khagani Street and Neftchilar Avenue;
⦁ From the intersection of Nizami and Pushkin streets towards Khagani Street;
⦁ From the intersection of Uzeyir Hajibeyli and Pushkin streets towards Bulbul Avenue.
Exit points:
⦁ From Neftchilar Avenue towards Baku Sea Port, Port Baku Mall, and Crescent Mall;
⦁ From Independence Street towards Azerbaijan Avenue;
⦁ From Neftchilar Avenue towards Azneft Circle, Sea Mall, and Salyan Highway.
During the specified period, the movement of vehicles, except for public transport and heavy-duty trucks, will be ensured through designated transit corridors.
