The names of the judokas who will represent Azerbaijan at the "Grand Slam" tournament to be held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on May 1–3, have been announced.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, that 6 judokas across 4 weight categories will compete under the leadership of the men's national team senior coaches, Elchin Ismayilov and Slavko Tekic.

The squad includes Murad Muradli (60 kg), Nizami Imranov, Islam Rahimov (both 66 kg), Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg), Ushangi Kokauri, and Jamal Gamzatkhanov (both +100 kg).

A total of 248 athletes from 34 countries will test their strength in the "Grand Slam," which is part of the World Judo Tour.
