The Judo Grand Prix in Linz, Austria, has come to an end.

According to Offsideplus.az, Azerbaijan concluded the international tournament with a total of 4 medals.

On the final day of the competition, Jamal Gamzatkhanov secured a bronze medal. Competing in the +100 kg weight category, our judoka achieved a hard-fought victory over Georgian representative Irakli Demetrashvili in the bronze medal match.

It is worth noting that earlier in the tournament, Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) won gold, Vusal Galandarzade (81 kg) took silver, and Omar Rajabli (81 kg) earned a bronze medal.

Finishing with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, our national team ranked third overall among 59 countries and secured first place in the men’s competition.
