The Azerbaijan U20 freestyle wrestling national team has started its next training camp.
According to Offsideplus.az, citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, the team began general and specialized physical training sessions on May 28 at the Qakh Olympic Sports Complex.
The training camp, which will continue until June 11, is led by head coach Arif Abdullayev and coaches Rovshan Hajiyev and Nazim Alijanov. The participating wrestlers are:
- 57 kg: Vasif Baghirov, Sadreddin Hasanov, Huseyn Huseynov
- 61 kg: Zamin Mammadov, Bashir Verdiyev
- 65 kg: Haji Karimov, Eljan Ismayilzada
- 70 kg: Ismayil Rahimli, Nurlan Agazade
- 74 kg: Omar Gulmammadov, Fazil Ismayilzada
- 79 kg: Muradkhan Omarov
- 86 kg: Mahammad Abbaszade, Tabriz Bayramov, Vasif Khudiyev
- 92 kg: Anar Jafarli, Shamistan Akhundov
- 97 kg: Ravan Musayev
- 125 kg: Yusif Dursunov, Mukhamad Qantemirov
The training camp in Qakh serves as preparation for the European Championship, which will be held from June 30 to July 6 in Caorle, Italy.
